  1. Praxis hints and really important help.
  2.  
  3. LINE MOVEMENT - Don't move the mouse very much at all.  Just click the mouse button to move around.  That's it!
  4.  
  5. SHOOTING - shooting is difficult at first.  I suggest you practice by playing a two-player game with yourself, only you play the line, and the enemy will just "sit there" like a sitting duck, and you can practice shooting at it.  (To do this, choose 2-player underneath the Configuration menu).

  7. DIFFERENT ENEMY BEHAVIORS - 
  8.      1) cloaking - the enemy will cloak (disappear) when it is away from you at times.
  9.          Don't worry, when it gets close to you you'll be able to see it again!!! This makes
  10.          the later levels more difficult.
  11.      2) hyperspacing - the enemy might "jump" from time to time when you think you are
  12.          about to hit it.  This is hyperspacing, and it is a defensive tactic for the enemy.
  13.          To best hit the enemy, align yourself vertically or horizontally around the enemy
  14.          when you go to hit him.  He should be easier to hit in these positions.  Also, when
  15.          the enemy hyperspaces, there is a chance that he will lose life energy in the
  16.          process.
  17.      3) shadowing - the enemy becomes less visible, making itself harder to hit.
  18.      4) dodge ball - the enemy will be able to dodge your shots when you shoot.
  19.      5) follow one end - watch out for this!  The enemy will consistently follow
  20.          on end of your Space Mace (either the Cube or the Pyramid), and try to "leech"
  21.          all of your available life energy.
  22.      6) follow closest end - similar to 5), except the enemy goes after closest end.
  23.      7) random, erratic movement - just what it says!!!
  24.      8) Whoa, all of these can be combined to really mess you up!!

  26. GENERAL - Move around a lot, don't stay stationary.  Do this especially when the enemy is following you, or he is right on top of you.  You will preserve your shield and life energy by moving a lot.

  28. Use the fact that you can "wrap around" on the screen.  This is one of your biggest advantages.  Don't feel restricted by the edges of the game.

  30. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They contain some good help.  At least look at the help menu in the game!

  32. Watch for a color, full screen (maybe AppleTalk) version of Praxis!!!!!   It will probably be version 2.0.
